Norton Park Elementary will benefit from the 2009 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. A few of the approved projects include: modification of the front entry, a walkway enclosure, and the music room. The front entry of Norton Park will be getting a facelift, thanks to SPLOST III. Norton Park has also launched a 30 Book Campaign. The 30 Book Campaign is a school wide incentive to motivate students to read. Each year students are asked to read and respond to thirty books on their independent level. If this goal is accomplished, they will be invited to a special celebration in May.
