Belmont Hills Elementary is a Title I Distinguished School. Belmont Hills Elementary School is one of 114 schools in the Cobb County School District and was established in Smyrna, Georgia in the 1950s. The school has an outstanding faculty and staff who serve a very diverse and talented population.

The school has state of the art 21st Century technology. In fact, Belmont Hills was “one of seven schools selected as a demonstration site for Cobb County’s “21st Century Classrooms” project. As part of the program, each classroom at Belmont Hills has been outfitted with ceiling-mounted LCD projectors, interactive white boards, speakers, and microphones, as well as software to support these new technologies.”

The media center is rich with lots of great tools for the students to use to learn. They can access them in the media center itself or online.

The school has many clubs. They include the following:

The Belmont Hills Elementary School Honors Chorus has participated in the Smyrna Veterans Day ceremonies for 2009 and 2010, practically stealing the show both times.
